About VSWR

Built on integrity. Grounded in community.

VSWR works in partnership with employers and stakeholders to connect Ni-Vanuatu workers with safe, fair, and structured overseas employment opportunities.

Established with a strong vision to improve livelihoods, VSWR continues to grow through integrity, transparency, and strong worker support systems. We ensure workers are well-prepared before departure, supported during employment, and guided upon their return home.

We also support visiting employers and stakeholders in Vanuatu by coordinating schedules, organising meetings, and assisting with recruitment activities.

Our Mission

To empower Ni-Vanuatu workers through safe, ethical, and sustainable overseas employment pathways that strengthen families, communities, and national development.

Our History

A legacy of dedication since 2005.

Founded by a visionary New Zealander passionate about helping the people of Vanuatu, our journey began in 2005 under the able stewardship of the late Dick Eade. Alongside his esteemed Ni-Vanuatu colleague Nancy Jacob, he laid the foundation of the company previously known as Manpower Vanuatu Associates.

Following Dick's passing in 2011, Nancy Jacob assumed ownership, steering the company through a period of growth. From 2011, VSWR exclusively recruited under the renowned RSE programme, ensuring top-quality service for our clientele.

In 2014, we made history as the first company to deploy workers under the SWP programme to the vibrant locale of Coffs Harbour, NSW, Australia. Since then, our trajectory has been one of continual advancement and expansion.

In 2024, a new chapter unfolds as ownership transitions to Serah Jacob, daughter of Nancy Jacob and a former seasonal worker herself. With Serah at the helm, VSWR continues its proud tradition of excellence, now extending recruitment services across both the RSE and PALM schemes.
